| TABBING |
Tabbing is used most often with folded pieces that are not
placed in envelopes. Tabbing is essentially securing the piece
from opening while being read by postal equipment or during
mailing. Tabbing requirements differ depending on the weight and
design of the mail piece and paper used. Generally, a folded
newsletter or postcard needs a weight of 28# or greater to qualify for
using just one tab. Lighter weights of paper require two
tabs. Choosing the right paper and design can lower
